The internal frame in our foundation vents is constructed from a cellular polyvinyl chloride (PVC) board, Trex Trim.
Trex Trim does not absorb moisture, is insect resistant and will not crack, rot or split. Trex Trim can be installed
at or even below grade. This makes it an excellent frame choice for our foundation/crawl space vents. The remainder
of our foundation vent is constructed from the same baked enamel finish aluminum as our gable vents.
